She graduated from fashion school (stylist) / fashion model / nurse before becoming a Creator.

She used to be active in Japan and Italy as a fashion model. When she lived in Italy, she was inspired by the stained glass of the duomo (cathedral). She encounters the liquid resin Dip art method, which has a glassy luster and transparency.

She entered Taiwan from 2017 and actively participated in overseas sales. She participated in one of the largest EXPO TAIWAN in Taiwan, and became the first Japanese to participate in Handmade Accessory, and she attracted attention. She has the third highest sales among 176 booths at POP UP ASIA in Taiwan and has many fans in Taiwan.

She has over 100 store openings in 5 years, including Ginza Mitsukoshi and Hankyu Umeda Main Store, where she sells face-to-face in Japan.

● While the new COVID-19 in 2020 is widespread, she participates in an exhibition in Taiwan online and continues to exhibit and sell overseas even during the COVID whirlpool.

● About the work

Incorporating the formulated Original resin coating, creating a transparent, glossy, light and beautiful accessory

The design is changed and sold depending on the season. She incorporates the preciousness and fragility of flowers into the design so that there are seasons. We are constantly developing designs such as one-of-a-kind items. Limited items will be discontinued within minutes of the start of the Online Shop.

・ Dip art method

Create a shape with a wire and wrap it with liquid resin to make petals. Its transparency reflects light like glass, and its luster and transparency are beautiful.UV resin changes color over time, but this work is characterized by being able to maintain a beautiful color without discoloration due to natural drying

Graduated from the professional stylist department

She is active as a fashion model in Japan and Europe, mainly in fashion shows

Obtained national qualification as a regular nurse (ER, cardiovascular surgery, circulatory system, metabolic endocrinology)

After graduating fashion school, I worked as a model in Japan and Italy by taking advantage of my height at 5.8ft.

While in Italy, I was awed by duomo ’s beautiful stained glass which became a source of inspiration for my designs.

After returning to Japan in 2006, I started to make accessories using “dip art”.

I then started my brand “Resin woman” and thankfully attracted many interests through EXPOs and events in Taiwan since 2017.

2019 February: Featured in a famous magazine “Dpi magazine Taiwan.”

2019 April: Participated in the largest EXPO in Taiwan (EXPO TAIWAN) as the first Japanese handmade artist.

2020 July: First personal exhibition will take place in Taiwan

My work has a beautiful transparent, glass-like touch whilst being very light.

I try to express the beautiful floral curves in 3D by using my original ingredients and techniques!

Technique

Dip art was introduced to Japan 35 years ago from America and it spurred off a big-trend for making artificial flowers.

While liquid resin is extremely difficult to handle, if used well, it creates a glass-like transparency.

Each petals are handmade, and the work requires countless coating and drying processes which takes a few days to finish!
